CONCRETE EQUIPMENT & MECHANICAL PADS
Equipment pads provide level, stable, reinforced concrete bases for HVAC condensers, heat pumps, generators, air compressors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment. We pour pads sized to manufacturer specifications with proper thickness (typically 4-6 inches), reinforcement, and drainage grading. Pads include vibration isolation provisions where required and are elevated above surrounding grade to prevent water and snow contact with equipment.
Starting at $500 per pad
pads built to equipment manufacturer's required dimensions and weight ratings.
pads are level, elevated above grade, and graded for drainage away from equipment.
provisions for vibration-dampening mounts where specified.
Equipment pads seem simple but improper installation leads to equipment malfunction, voided warranties, and premature failure. We pour equipment pads to manufacturer specifications — correct dimensions, thickness, reinforcement, and elevation — ensuring your HVAC, generator, or mechanical equipment is properly supported.
HVAC units, generators, compressors, and other mechanical equipment need proper concrete pad support.
Review equipment manufacturer's pad requirements for dimensions, thickness, and weight rating.
Excavate, compact subgrade, and set forms to specified dimensions and elevation.
Place concrete with proper reinforcement, finish, and allow to cure before equipment setting.
Most residential HVAC manufacturers require a minimum 4-inch thick pad extending 3-6 inches beyond the equipment on all sides. The pad should be elevated 2-3 inches above surrounding grade to keep the equipment above snowline and water. Always check your specific equipment manufacturer's requirements.
