MUDJACKING (SLABJACKING) — LIFT SETTLED CONCRETE
Mudjacking (slabjacking) lifts settled concrete slabs by pumping a cement-sand-water slurry through small holes drilled in the slab. The pressurized slurry fills voids beneath the slab and lifts it back to level. Mudjacking costs 50-75% less than full replacement and can be done in a few hours. Effective for driveways, sidewalks, garage floors, patios, pool decks, and stoops that have settled due to soil erosion, compaction, or washout.

settled slabs lifted back to level in hours, usable immediately.
cement-sand slurry fills voids and provides permanent support.
Mudjacking is the most cost-effective way to lift settled concrete slabs. We drill small holes (1-5/8"), pump cement-sand slurry beneath the slab to fill voids and lift it back to level, then patch the holes. Most jobs are completed in a few hours and the surface is immediately usable. Mudjacking is ideal for driveways, sidewalks, garage floors, patios, and stoops.
Concrete slabs have sunk below adjacent surfaces creating trip hazards and poor drainage.
Evaluate settled slabs, measure deviation from level, and determine if mudjacking is appropriate.
Drill 1-5/8" holes through the slab, pump cement-sand slurry until the slab lifts to level.
Fill drill holes with concrete patch material and clean the surface.
Mudjacking provides permanent support — the cement-sand slurry hardens to a solid mass beneath the slab. The slab could settle again only if the underlying soil continues to erode or compact, which is uncommon if the void was properly filled.
