CONCRETE LEVELING — MUDJACKING & POLYURETHANE FOAM LIFTING FOR SETTLED SLABS

Settled, uneven concrete creates trip hazards and drainage problems. We offer two leveling methods: traditional mudjacking (pumping a cement slurry beneath the slab to lift it back to grade) and polyurethane foam lifting (injecting expanding foam for precise, lightweight lifting). Both methods restore proper grade and drainage through small drilled holes — no demolition or replacement required.

Starting at $500 per project

5 Highlights on Concrete Leveling

Mudjacking

pump cement slurry beneath settled slabs through small drilled holes to lift concrete back to proper grade.

Polyurethane foam lifting

inject expanding foam beneath slabs for precise, lightweight, waterproof lifting.

Fix trip hazards

eliminate dangerous uneven transitions between slabs on driveways, sidewalks, and patios.

Restore drainage

re-establish proper slope and grade so water flows away from buildings instead of ponding.

Why Choose Our Concrete Leveling

Concrete leveling costs 50-75% less than full slab replacement and can be completed in a single day with minimal disruption.

We use both mudjacking and foam lifting and recommend the right method for each situation based on slab size, weight sensitivity, and access.

Same-day use — you can walk on leveled concrete immediately and drive on it within hours, depending on the method used.

Signs You Need Concrete Leveling

1. Uneven sidewalk or driveway sections

When slab sections have settled and created a lip or step between them, leveling restores a smooth, safe transition.

2. Water pooling on concrete

Settled slabs create low spots where water pools instead of draining. Leveling restores proper slope.

3. Garage floor sloping away from drain

Settled garage floors that no longer drain properly can be lifted back to correct grade.

Our Concrete Leveling Process

1

Step 1Assessment

Identify settled areas, measure displacement, and determine if the slab is a good candidate for leveling vs. replacement.

2

Step 2Drilling

Drill small holes (1-2 inch diameter) through the slab at strategic locations for material injection.

3

Step 3Lifting

Pump mudjacking slurry or polyurethane foam beneath the slab. Monitor elevation as the slab lifts to desired grade.

4

Step 4Patching

Patch drill holes with matching concrete. Clean up the work area.

Brands We Use

FAQs About Concrete Leveling

Mudjacking vs. foam lifting — which is better?

Both methods work well. Mudjacking costs less but adds significant weight. Foam lifting costs more but is lighter, waterproof, and more precise. Foam is better for weight-sensitive applications (pool decks, second-floor slabs). Mudjacking is economical for driveways and sidewalks.

How long does concrete leveling last?

Leveling typically lasts 8-10+ years. If the underlying soil issue (poor compaction, erosion, tree roots) is addressed, results can be permanent. Some settling may recur if soil conditions aren't corrected.
